That is true. Though there haven't really been any new official benches run for the latest drivers. At the very least the benches can be used to gauge relative performance however.

If youre demands aren't as high as mine for tessellation performance, high resolutions and maxed goodies, you can settle with the 560. It does perform quite well for what it is no doubt! 99% of people who buy a 560 won't go over 1080P with it anyways, and its quite fast at that res.
Both you and the OP play at 1080p. Why compare them at 1600p?

That aside, several of the benches you posted actually show a 9-20% performance gap... what is this supposed to prove exactly?

I don't think anyone was ever claiming the 560 was faster than the 570. The only major outlier is in bullet storm with 8x AA, where the 1g VRAM on the 560 becomes a choke point.

the 570 is much faster only a 560ti with a huge overclock can match it stock performance and maybe even get a little faster but it will never be faster then an overclocked 570.
My build :)

GTX 570 is awesome card and OC's like crazy ,you going to love it (can't wait for another)
@coolhandluke41

Depends how you define "heavily".

Palit's 570 Sonic Platinum is factory OCed @ 850mhz, and thats got a better 6+2 phase VRM. You think your reference 570, with its inferior 4 phase VRM is doing that overclock safely? Will you still be "lol"-ing when your card dies and u're begging EVGA for a RMA?

oh and nice 1.448v on that 2500k too. Whats that in bios?

I lol @ you

once you start overvolting your GPU nothing is safe ..that's the thrill of overclocking ,do i worry about it ? no (got the warranty for it and balls to do it)
P.S. that chip is good for x54@1.56v so far

EDIT;fill this up ;
