I did a small test with my 5870 in Single/CrossFire, CCC 11.4 preview

Just static watching the camp in the begin of the game for 60sec.

Here´s the fps I got

Single card (98-99% load)
min 37, max 39, avg 38,150

CrossFire (flashing, 98-99% load)
min 47, max 50, avg 49,283

CrossFire (Radeon Pro, Bioshock profile, no flashing, 98-99% load)
min 48, max 50, avg 48,750

CrossFire (Rename Crysis2.exe to FEAR.exe, no flashing, 98-99 load)
min 56, max 58, avg 57,283

CrossFire (Rename Crysis2.exe to FEAR.exe, no flashing, 98-99 load, wasdie mod)
min 57, max 59, avg 58,300

The scaling isn´t any good with the Bioshock profile, it´s better with renaming the Crysis.exe to FEAR.exe, the gameplay is equal for me with either of them.

I used radeon pro (as I saw kcuestag post on another forum) and my fps jumped from 40-60fps to constantly over 100+ fps. I was amazed to see such a huge jump (considering maybe crossfire wasn't working).

Honestly I don't think your cfx is working properly.

My scaling from 2 different scenes, 74% and 98% using bioshock.

I haven't logged any benchmark runs, but the fps counter doesn't lie.

You might be right.

I´m running graphic setting "Extreme" @ 1920x1200, what do you run?

Which driver, CCC and CAP do you run?

Do you think it can have anything to do with that you run Sandy Bridge and I run Lynnfield?

My i7 875k have load of around 65% (HT off) during game play.

I'm running 11.4 pre, with the latest cap profile.

I've run it at 1080 and 1200, extreme iq.
Scaling is pretty even across both resolutions.
What level are your screens from?
I'll find it and see what my numbers are at that spot, about the only way to really draw a conclusion.
I don't believe my locations were stressful enough.

I'm on the central park level now, this is what I'm seeing.
Dropped to 44%.

The screen are from the first level, "Second Chance" just before one enters the camp.

In original Crysis some textures on the sky always blinked when i had dual 5870 setup...
It's feature, not a bug, crossfire allows us to enjoy more life-like sky blinking, you know, sky always blinks...
