Why get 30FPS on an INSANELY HUGE monitor, when I can get 80+ FPS on a normal monitor? Still, that's just me.

Not a big technology buff, are we?

Resolution=/=Monitor size

That said, a 24"HD monitor is very manageable.

Sager NP-8690, which is really a Clevo W860CU.

i7 740qm, GTX 470m, 8 Gb of ram, Blu-ray (most worthless part, must figure out how to shove SSD in there)

and a 500 GB 7200 rpm HDD, and i got a USB 3 external 1TB HDD plugged into the USB 3 port.

Don't worry, I'll be getting a new monitor soon lol. That's the next thing on my list to buy.

The black ops one was the only one they had in stock, I wanted EVGA.

I love my 24" 1080p, but of course its not big enough, until we have holodecks...

I don't like the screen borders in eyefinity.

I want a solid 4wide x 3high of 24" with 25??x16?? monitor, 2-3feet in front of me.

i7 930 @4.085 GHz and an EVGA Superclocked GTX 570. I get rock steady 65fps at 1920x1080.

To OP, you can get 1080p resolution monitors in 22 or 24 inch size. Good size in my opinion for gaming. I wouldn't want to go smaller then that. A single GTX 570 (or GTX580 in your case) would have no problems powering any game out right now at 1080p resolutions.
