[Engadget] T-Mobile G2x (LG Optimus 2x) - Page 2

A lot of these phones seem more like tech demos than anything; just to say that they have a dual-core phone out. I'd rather wait until the next "generation" of phones come out in the fall, or beyond. What's with that southside bezel though? I can't remember seeing one take up that much space...

I'm happy with my G2. I haven't needed any more power from the phone, and having Cyanogen personally use a G2 is definitely a nice push on the ROM development end of things. I couldn't do without the keyboard either, methinks...

The only thing I wish for is a bigger screen, so hopefully the G3 will deliver that in a couple years

Hmmm, and the Atrix wasnt? With only 10 minutes i made mine into a much faster phone by installing ADEO on it, rooted, and running launcher pro. Not to mention the higher res screen.

Sucks that Froyo isn't able to properly use all that hardware.

If it does actually ships with froyo I'm sure it will be updated shortly after.

Cyanogen and many others over at XDA will probably have 2.3 ready for the device before/shortly after launch.
