I know. The first part of my post was more joking than anything. Don't mean to offend anyone or start another console vs PC argument.

The game is Kinda fun , but it is honestly not as fun as the first Crysis set. Killing Aliens in NYC ,is kinda lame compared to wasting Koreans, and then Frozen aliens, on a sweet -ass Tropical Island in the beautiful sunlight . Crysis 2 is very Depressing. Sequels usually suck ,and Crysis 2 does not disappoint.

No thanks. I might try it some day, but the next 300 or so days aren't looking too bright. There are far better games coming out this year.

We have known about no dx11 at launch for quite some time now, not news, and whoever says they cant release dx11 in a patch. Just look at WoW Cataclysm.

It's not the fact that they can patch it in. It's the fact that the developers promised us the best looking game on PC. That means utilizing DX11.

How can Crysis still look better than C2, when supposedly tech has advanced much further than the days of the original Crysis. It's because Crysis used DX10, and now C2 just uses DX9.

I agree with everyone who says that the fact that C2 doesn't have Dx11 is a step backwards, and therefor I will not be supporting crytek.

I'll just stick with BF3, and the fact that they ditched DX9 altogether.

as far as i know bf3 didn't ditch dx9 all together. they there will be two versions, dx9 and dx11. also bf3 has said nothing about native dx11. they could patch just like crytek is doing. i remember bfbc2 demo and the final pc product. i'll believe it when i see it.

civ 5 is the only game in history so far to have native dx11 implemented the way it's suppose to be, not dice.

Wrong. Most of what you attribute to DirectX10 or 11 in Crysis and Metro 2033 is just good implementation of Dx 9.

Nope, its been confirmed that BF3 will not be using DX9. Ony DX10 and up, therefore even XP isnt supported. There are articles all over the internet, and even here on OCN. When I get home Ill link it.
