Can't decide on monitor to purchase

Hey guys I'm new to overclock, but I've heard of the great help you can get from here.

I'm a big newb when it comes to monitors so bare with me :x

I was deciding between the Benq xl2410t or the Asus VG236H. I'm an avid FPS gamer (Counter-Strike, QuakLive) and play some Starcraft. So thats why I want a 120hz monitor (since thats what I use on my CRT now). But I keep hearing bad things about both, mainly the Benq having horrible backlight bleeding? And not sure what it actually better, LCD or LED.

Can anyone recommend me a monitor (can be either of the 2 or something else)
I'm just looking for a monitor with 120hz with great color/sharpness thats as close to a CRT as possible.

Thx to anyone that can help me out, I appreciate it.

Almost every monitor I've bought has had at least a few horror stories in the reviews and I never had a problem.

LED = LCD replaced with led backlight instead of fluorescent. LED's are usually brighter and much more even light across the whole thing.

I don't think you would have a problem with the benq.....they are generally a good brand.

I've had a few people tell me to get the Asus, but I heard its got a green tint issue? What about the Alienware monitor? This is so frustrating -_-
