Well even if it was ebay it wouldnt produce temps 30c higher than they should, but no, i use AS5 only.

AS5 has a burn-in period, but with multiple remounts it should be doing better. How tight is the block to the cpu?

Tight as it can go. I just took this apart and it had a thin layer of gel across the copper fins. If thats what the problem is i guess im done with this stuff.

soooo the gel dropped the temps to the 60s which still isnt sufficient so its something else unfortunately

That gel is from the coolant. I'd flush and try straight distilled and see what you get.

I really can't think of any reason why your idle would be that high. Are both pumps working? Feser 1 is notorious for plugging up your blocks. Some of the worse coolant out there. I'd go with straight distilled and silver. EK have changed their warranty so that PT nuke can void it now.

Well im gunna be going with a bay reservoir so will that killcoil fit in the tubing somewhere?

You can put the kill coil in the res, silly!

Have you temps gone down at all? I really can't think of why the temps would be that high...
