All though it's been said, many times, many ways...

I just got my CM Hyper 212+ back from RMA today...

It rocks!

I'm greatly pleased with the performance of this bad boy.

Went from a dangerous 59C max @3.8 on my 955BE

To a comfortable 52C max @4.0 on my 955BE (never passed 48C at 3.8Ghz so I bumped it up).

Loving this cooler!

but you already knew it was a bomb.com cooler for the price, didn't you?

Edit: Fail title grammar ftl... All though...

It is indeed a great cooler. Just built a rig for my friend with it (same CPU as you, too) and at stock clocks I challenged him to get it to go more than 15C over idle. He eventually resorted to using his room heater to get hot air in it while running prime O_O

Well at least he's resourceful right? Haha!

I'd actually believe it.

I purchased an original Hyper 212 when it came out years ago and the darn thing was crooked right out of the box (no damage to packaging).
Newegg took care of that one though

I just got my 15$ rebate back for my Hyper 212+. It seems like it keeps my CPU even cooler when I realize it cost 15$

Believe it or not, one of the screws on the mounting bracket was not threaded, and I didn't even notice until I was trying to tighten it down... Why wont this thing tighten!? Oh... RMA
