I have a matx build I just put together and it is the weirdest thing. I had it on nothing but SATA and upon power up it would spin the cpu fan and then quit. So I double checked everything and all I pretty much did was move this build from a temp case to my new Silverstone ML03 HTPC case.

So I got it to finally post by plugging in an IDE DVD Rom and in the end it wasn't even that that did the trick, it was the fact that a 4pin Molex was attached. Tried this theory out and it worked with a fan as well. Unplug the Molex and try to reboot and dead, nothing.

I have never seen this. It is a Antec Earthwatts 380w and Zotac 610i with an E5700 and 4GB of Muskin Silverline. Anyone have any ideas why I would have this issue? Thanks for any responses.
