DECK Legend Keys

Thread Starter
Was looking to get some solid un-marked and colored keys for WSAD and delete.

Any idea where I could find some or what else I could use? I think the keyboard would look really nice with some red or white WSADs smile.gif

The Deck should take any Cherry MX key caps. Refer to an expert for profile type and if they would fit with the row. Some keys are higher then others, etc.

The issue would be is finding ones that look right with the board. They are pretty different from the average key, not to mention the back lighting. They used to sell blanks that you could make into anything you wanted which would have worked pretty good, but they don't sell them anymore due to the sales of them where not high enough.

Wish someone would make a set of custom keys for it. It's so good looking without having the colors though. But I would consider buying like some blue or purple capped keys for it for my ADWS keys for sure. Still deciding if I want to put on my "Davy Jones" key for Escape or not lol.

Problem is, a dollar or two for a keycap isn't that bad when you're buying one. When you buy a whole set of 100+, it suddenly can become very expensive, more then you paid for the keyboard even.

Since the amount of people who own Decks is small, and the amount of them that would be willing to shell out for an entire key set is even smaller, there is little hope of that ever happening.

Yeah when I talked with Adam about it, he said they had initial interest from a bunch of people who wanted to do it, but they gave up after nobody was ordering them. I would imagine there also wouldn't be many people out there willing to shell out $100+ for a full keyset. However I would shell out $10-25 to get my ADWS keys made up in blue. Or course we would have to get up like 100-150 people to do that and it would never happen. Such a bummer, I love my board the way it is, but those little extras make it that much better. Guess I'll be happy with my skull and cross bones....YAAARRR!!!
