Teach ME to OC my rig

Thread Starter
Whats up OC.net? I'm Endo and yes I'm a computer junkie OK so being that i always need a fix in learning something new and doing something new, I built this system in hopes of having an overkill system that's stable but not gonna burn up in a couple of months and need some advise on how to go about OCing my rig. I'm a gamer, Pirate, "Programmer in the making", and now i want to broaden my knowledge of OCing. I'm not sure where to look in the forums being that there is a lot of boasted rigs (which is always good, can't wait to boast mine) But i was hoping to get a "Mentor" on the subject. Check out my rig its in my profile.

You've got a pretty good system there. I'm just curious why you are able to run 4x 2gb Dominator Rams on a 6 slot, triple channel motherboard.

Hey there. I (and many others) would be happy to help you. I'm also a gamer, and I'm a full-time software engineer as well, so we got a little in common already .

Hopefully by "pirate" you don't mean that you pirate software, because that would make me very sad.

When you're ready to dive into OC'ing your rig, head on over to the Intel section. Read some of the stickied articles, get some of the basics down. When you have any questions, we'll be here to help guide you along.

Welcome to OCN, and enjoy your stay.
