I don't know anything about OCing and don't want to F-up my rig(Spent $2100 on the damn thing) i'd like to say the videos on Youtube is helpful but its not explaining what i should worry about when OCing, and what's important. If theres anyone out here cheers.gif that can point me in the right direction so I'm not such a noob on the matter that'll be what's up. I'm a beginner to OC i don't know anything:kookoo:. Hi there! What i did is search the forums here and read read read.
Start with a search for your mobo, you have to know it`s settings and how it`s handled.
Look what others do with it so you know what you can expect.
Then search for your CPU surely some guys here have the same and wrote questions and problems and stuff about it. (Read!)
Here are many people willing to help if you ran into a specific issue or problem. Don`t be shy and ask!
If i had any of your gear i would give some advice...
And a big GZ from me for :"PLEASE HELP before i do something stupid"
Don`t kill your rig biggrin.gif

Don't be scared lol, gotta be brave:thumb:
Use a program like RealTemp to monitor the CPU temperatures and just go into your BIOS menu and adjust the Bclk or Bus Clock to a higher number and depending on how much you overclock, increase the vcore(voltage) a tad as well. Those are the basics, just play around with it till you get the power you need. Keep in mind though, gaming mostly depends on the GPU. Btw pretty sure you'll be able to get 4+GHz with enough cooling, I got 3.9GHz on an ii7 920. Good Luck, and be brave:thumb:
