Rev 3.0 Overclocking?

Thread Starter
I just got my rev 3.0 p8p67 PRO from newegg today and am trying to get 4.5 back on my rig.

My previous board needed something like 1.25v but this one can't even get it at 1.35v!

All settings are identical and I was wondering what other users' experiences were with the revision switch.

Thanks.

Overclocking with B3 blows. I had to up my vcore to 1.25 to get a stable 4.5GHz. Before that it was 1.3. It might the BIOS 1305.

I was running the 1305 bios on my old board though.

Based on this thread http://www.overclock.net/intel-motherboards/963426-anyone-haveing-problems-new-p67-b3.html it seems to be a mixed bag. I'm still playing with settings and itseems to be stable at 1.325v but I want to aim for lower than that.

I have updated my BIOS to 1502. I get a nice overclock 4.6GHz with offset and ADTV with a max. vcore of 1.344. However, the board suffers from double boot issue.sozo.gif

Eh, double boot issue isn't that big of a deal. I'm still getting it now to be honest. I'm not going to bother with more OCing on this board because the x16 slot is defective.
