Can you explain how to rename the .exe file? When I try to navigate to the folder in E:\\Program Files (x86)\\steamapps\\common\\crysis 2\\bin32 and rename it to "bioshock" the game then says "the game is currently unavailable" When I switch it back, it works fine. =/

Must be a steam specific issue. When I rename mine to bioshock in my Ea Downloads folder it works fine. This also fixes the flashing for me as well.

Rename the Crysis2.exe to fear.exe and it will work great. The flickering is gone and the performance is much better. No graphical anomalies so far.

When I do this I get the "game is unavailable" error message.

Seriously though, the game doesn't support crossfire. Hence the flickering.
