No, it didn't.

Which means it's illegal not to show up, not that any other nation is going to give a damn, or that agents are going to be sent across international borders illegally to enforce a subpoena for a civil case.

De jure and de facto are rarely the same.

I've flaunted court summons successfully, without even having to leave the country. There are just two or three states I won't dare set foot in again.

Unless I've missed something GeoHot isn't accused of molesting children or trafficking in sex slaves (though it would not surprise me if someone chimed in about the obvious correlation between jailbreaking a PS3 and criminal sexual deviancy).

Yeah right...Sony is going to send a goon squad after GeoHot.

As for justice, well, we obviously don't have the same definition.
This post is Awesome. Full of LOLZ and PWNG!

I wish Geohot the best. Geohot should lay low and keep things underground.

Sony already bought the courts, so Geohot had no chance.

he should go to the country with the other hacker group that they tried to sue, and together ultimately destroy sony, as in hack and destroy every product they release from playstations to washing machines!

Better to spend money before they take it from you.

Remains to be seen.

I wouldn't be surprised, as he's clearly an idiot for lying about things he knew Sony would find, but it's far from certain.

Hell, I hope he get peace out there. It's like if Activision would go berserk and sue everyone that makes no-cd patch and mods without a official editor published by them.

Well If the choice is prison time or running to South America for hacking a ps3, I would go to South America. Run Geohot Run.

Of course piracy means nothing in El salavdor either. I can buy pirated movies or games or music CDs in front of a cop but that's because they can't control it. People need to make money somehow and not many people at all have money to buy a $60 game or a $20 music CD when they make $150 a month

But if someone is wanted in another country and the local police there gets the report and he's seen, I bet that he will be caught and brought back to where he's wanted
All one has to consider is, Sony HAS money, like lots of it to be sure...

So if, and I'm sure they do, want to get this no-name hacker, he is as good as got, or does someone think they wasted their time & $ for nothing?

No, GeoNot is definitely going to get served by Sony...

(Hehe, being a Japanese company, I wonder if they will send corporate ninjas? lolz! / kidding)
