English isn't everyone's native tongue.

Anyway... Good for him for looking to put family before work. I enjoyed using OS X for the 2-3 years that I used my macbook as a primary.

He made more mistakes than that. It is almost sig-worthy.

Meh......

I'll say this much...from having to support Macs years ago...OSX was the "best" just because it didn't take 5 minutes to freaking reset the bloody ip address. However, I really can't say anything else positive about the OS's.

So here's hoping he finds something better.

Well apple is more of a iPod/Cellphone company now then a Desktop computer company.

I am pretty sure iPod, iPhone, and iPad account for over 75% of Apples revenue.

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple goes away from the OSX, releases a touch screen iMAC and just uses the iPhone/iPad OS on it. Release Photoshop, and other Mac programs as Apps.

integrate touch screens on the Macbooks and do the same.

They would be so idiot proof that they would probably start outselling PC's which is ludicrous.

iPhone/iPad actually use OS X's kernel, Darwin. So it'd be changing the GUI simply, not the OS as a whole.

Which, if you've seen OS X Lion they've begun doing this with fullscreen applications and the introduction of the launchpad and App Store on OS X. Quite sad in my opinion, but I'm not the one making decisions over there.

"Hey we are marketing to morons now, so we don't need you any more please step down and retire"
