Is it time for a new processor???

Thread Starter
Hello all. Check the sig rig and tell me, with all of that and the fact that I might not be able to go Bulldozer with this setup, is is it time for me to just get a better Phenom II? 1100T? I hear there are only like 6 Asus boards that could do the BIOS upgrade and successfully do the Bulldozer upgrade. What are your thoughts?

I would personally save my money up and wait to buy a am3+ mobo with bd. I don't know the extent of the dip in performance when using an am3 board with bd, but I wouldn't risk it. It's just a few months away and buying a pii right before the release doesn't make sense.

Those am3 mobo will support bulldozer but some features of the cpu will be turned off.
U are quite okey with your cpu now, like one said,I also agree that no mordern games makes use of 6core,
so,save for bulldozer
