Quick power on and off is a psu problem.

Also could be cpu not seatted correctly,faulty ram or dead mobo.

Well, it is a cable that plugs into the 4 pin cpu power header on the motherboard from the PSU.

If you could post pics, we could be much more helpful.

yeah you're probably right. the psu is most likely the cause of this mess. always had bad experiences with psu's.

i think its his PSU its a dual GPU 460 so i'm pretty sure is sucking too much power

Im thinking it's the RAM, I had that same problem with my current build when I put the RAM in the wrong slots.

Yes, but he has also tried with the GPU out and it still had the same problem, sucking power isn't the cause. I agree it is likely the PSU is dead or a bad connection.

*EDIT* ^ good point, OP did you seat the RAM in the correct dual channel slots?
