Raid 0

Thread Starter
So i have 2 WD raptors (old generation) 74Gb. I want to put them in a RAID 0 and so far i went into bios and turned RAID 0 on and then reboot after saving settings. After the POST, it says detecting arrays and press f10 to set up a new array. i press f10 and i select the two drives and i select striped with 64Kb. I thought i had it working because i install windows and then it boots (still had windows 7 disc in). I start installing all my software and games and i try to play starcraft 2 and it says my data has been corrupted. i reboot my computer and i take the windows disc out and it comes up with a disc failure message. both the drives were working before i put them in RAID 0. I have no idea what to do. this is my first time setting up a RAID 0. any ideas on whats wrong?

EDIT: I installed the nVidia storage drivers as well but i still have the same problem
EDIT: Im reinstalling Windows 7 Ultimate on it.
EDIT: Would i need to install the RAID drivers while installing windows 7?

I had to install the RAID drivers to be able to instal win 7 for me... After windows is installed then you just set it up like any single drive system. If a drive keeps failing it is probably on its way out...

Is there a way to tell if one of the disks are bad? My friend just pulled them out of his computer a month ago and they were working fine.

how would i go about installing the raid drivers before installing windows?

i had to install my raid0 driver while installing windows,so it would be a good ideal to have them on a flash drive or a cd.

there is no way i can boot into windows now. I have the storage drivers on a jump drive, would i then set my boot priority to removable first?
