Is my SSD Dying?

I've been using my SSD for the past year and hadnt had any problems till last week... I turned my comp om and it was taking awhile to start windows. When it finally started up, windows would hang for a bit when I would open something. After about 30mins of this my screen went black and my hard drive light stayed solid for about a minute and then my comp restarted itself. After restarting I was greeted with an error message, cant remember what it said but I think it was the computer equivalent to a middle finger. So I jumped into bios to take a look at things and found my SSD wasnt being detected, at this point I thought it was dead so I unplugged it. After about 3 hours I plugged it back in just for the hell of it and it worked! That was until last night when I went through all that again. So its working for the moment but is this thing about to go out for good?

The connection is going out.

Do a backup and get it looked at by the pros, Unlike hdd's you can't just swap out the PCB which would likely solve your problem if you could.

Have you tried reinstalling Windows? Also how much space is left on the drive. As the disk space diminishes performance will take a hit. Or so I have read somewhere.

If it keeps acting up either reinstall Windows or RMA it back to OCZ.
