Right, don’t hate me for this . . .
I own MW1, MW2, BO and BC2
MY first cod game was MW2 and... Ahem ... I like it, it’s a good game. The only problems I had were the occasional connection problems but that’s no biggie.
I then got COD4 just to see what the fuss was about and I also think that is a great game, on a par with MW2 imo.
Now I got BC2 out of curiosity really and well for some reason I never got "into" it, I found that I would spawn a mile from the action and whenever I got within sniffing distance of an enemy I would get sniped or more often hit with a rocket from a CG.
For me, if I want to raise my heartbeat a bit the choice is simple, COD, for me the game play is quicker, the maps are more numerous and each have their own technique, and I like the weapon customisation, kill streaks, perks system and BO has is perhaps the most balanced COD yet.
Although I don’t approve of the ported COD games its game play makes up for its graphics whereas I feel that in BC2, the graphics are making up for the less than fluid game play (I mean whets with the no strafing?)
Although I am more than willing to give BF3 a try unless the devs do something to increase the pace of the game (and not just have a load of snipers on one hill etc) I doubt if I get much enjoyment from it.
