It's built in.

called AMD Cool n Quiet. No software required,.

or if you're referring to a program that will stress your CPU then prime95 is what you want.

ya I already have prime and occt, I actually run both at the same time for a couple of hours to make sure my OC's are 100% stable.

the reason I am interested in it is because, I once heard someone say that the 55*C=AMD and the 75*C=intel were just rules of thumb. and the real max stable temp for my cpu is anything under when it starts to throttle.

So then once i find when it starts to throttle I can OC my cpu to just under the throttling temp. that way I can maximize my OC with my current cooler.

So you want to see how hot your CPU will get before the system shuts off? Just unlpug the cpu fan.

...thats all throttling is? its when your cpu becomes unstable due to excess heat?!?!?! I think i'll just keep my max load at 58*C....I don't really feel like inetionallly crashing my rig. smile.gif
