Gotcha.... There are power upgrades that you can apply though, maybe that is what they were getting at.

I guess now that I think about it, it would be nice to turn off speed, so you don't always use up energy when running and just run at a little slower pace with it off. But I guess beings it is not a huge island, you really don't need to speed run as far as Crysis 1.

Possible Spoiler Alert--------------------

The suit isn't really customizable. You have to collect samples/credits from Alien bodies to unlock certain abilities.

There aren't that many aliens in the beginning of the game so the suit abilities are linked to the games progression. In Crysis 1, all abilities were enabled from the start of the game, you didn't have to increase mobility, aiming, energy consumption etc. You start with no suit abilities, then as the game progress you will get cloak then armor, then you have to upgrade them from there. Very console like, the game tells you when to cloak and when to enable armor mode. The game is paced and predictable. Speed in this game is equal to jogging at the park.

If it was truly developed for PC first, we would have had everything from the last Crysis when it comes to PC functions like Quick Save, Advanced Settings, DX10 etc. The game doesn't suck but it's not great either. A good game to pass the time by. C grade game so far.
Please don't tell me it's become a playable action movie like CoD. I actually like using tactics on games, approaching the combat area in different ways. Games like CoD makes me feel like I'm being dragged around in a little red wagon going pew pew at anything I see.

OCN is mad because its not a benchmark and is an actual game.
Since no one plays games on the PC anymore, it must be a console port.
I'm mad it's not both.

No, you still have to approach situations carefully and plan your attack. They still shoot flares to request backup when you're spotted etc.

Didnt the opening menu of crysis 2 say "press the start button to begin"? Then they patched it. No dx11, multiplayer is weak compared to crysis 1. Everything about this game is a port.

Well, that's good to hear. Have you encountered any glitches/bugs that are show stoppers?

The demo did but how did that affect the game in any way, shape or form?

99% of games don't have Dx 11, only 5.6% of players can run it and of those 5.6% less than half can run it WELL enough to where it doesn't become a slideshow.

And the Multiplayer is MUCH better compared to Crysis 1.

The point of Crysis is not being able to run it out but in the next 3 years. Crysis was alive only because of the fact that even now single cards cant max it and its looks very good maxed out. Crysis 2 in the other had looks updated but its not as demanding as Crysis. a GTX580 should be getting ~ 20-25 fps on High in oder to be same as Crysis 2. Also the game does have to be a console port to be like Crysis. The fact that its build around the idea of 360/PS3 its considered a console copy or port.
