New Case GTX 295 Temps Way Up!

Thread Starter
Hi there I just changed from a Coolermaster CM 690 with all optional fans installed a total of 6, to a Corsair 600t and my temps are way up. My idle temps were 40-45 and now 60-65. Did the additional fans in the CM 690 really help or is the Corsair 600t just a hot case. Thanks

Could be the lack of the side panel fans which blew cold air at the GPU.

The 295 (two pcbs or one?) is a pretty hot card on its own.
You might consider putting another fan at the hdd cage blowing cold air at the back of the GPU.

probably this. i don't have that powerful of a card, but with my side panel fan off, it idles around 40-42. but even with the side panel fan on low, my idle drops down to around 32-34. it really helps.
