Which is the best CPU cooler out of these?

I'm on a budget and these are the coolers I'm narrowed to;

1) ZALMAN CNPS10X Performa

2) XIGMATEK S1283V Dark Knight Heat-pipe Direct Touch Cooling System

3) XIGMATEK HDT-S963 Heat-pipe Direct Touch

4) ARCTIC COOLING Freezer Xtreme Rev. 2

I've listed them in that order because I think performance wise, they should be listed like that.

What do you guys think?

I personally havent had experience with any of those but if i had to suggest one probably the Dark Knight. On the other hand for $10.00+ cheaper you could look at the cooler master hyper 212+

According to a few reviews/benchmarks, it gets close to a NH-D14, cept it gets louder as well. So if you don't care about noise, go for the Performa.

Yup. The Zalman seems to be your best bet.
Stay away from the AC Freezer. Not good. At all.

Zalman CNPS10X is the best but, as has been stated, it's also the loudest. I think you should consider the Cooler Master Hyper 212+, too.

I've heard great things about the dark knight, but my personal favorite is def. the hyper 212+ (not on your list)

As an owner of the H50, I do not recommend it, I have had problem after problem with it, if it's not the pump having a buzzing noise (solved by hitting it), it's the radiator, the radiator is extremely brittle, all of the grills have somehow managed to get scuffed/bent without me even moving my case out my room.

The radiator is that small in diameter that mounting two fans on it somehow increases the noise levels significantly, I'm at around 60dB with my H50 setup in my sig!

So no, don't go with the HXX.

Definitely Zalman, yes it's loud, but only as loud as the fans you put on it!

Good luck, and if you're bothered about noise, replace the fans on it!
