An Order In The Life of a Northerner - Page 3

OH wow, I totally forgot about this thread!

Yes, they have come in. The package arrived on the 31st, almost 2 weeks later. There was an issue with the fan on the Hyper 212+, but thats been worked out and they're sending me a new Blademaster fan.. though I'm not sure when it'll get here. They approved the part request on the 10th of April, sent the info to shipping and it I still haven't got a tracking number yet.

The keyboard was in perfect condition, with only a few keycaps having fallen off during transport. I couldn't be happier with my decision to get a mechanical keyboard. I'm happy I decided to go with a keyboard with Cherry MX Blacks, because I dont see how much better they could be. I find them quite easy to type on. I bring my keyboard to work and type all day on it, with no fatigue or complaints at all

Shortly after this package arrived, I ordered an Antec Truepower New 650watt PSU, from the same company and it has yet to come in.. idk what its doing :\\

My temps are about average. Temperatures indoors are no different from anywhere else. Room temperature is still 20c lol
In fact, with the more sealed design of the walls for houses, indoor temperatures are probably more stable than that of a house in the south.
Also, in the middle of winter, with the extremely cold weather, it gets pretty dry & the very low humidity would actually hinder my cooling performance.

I have lived in Ontario. I have a lot of family in the Kingston area. I also have some family here + the job here pays better. I plan on moving sometime very soon.. Probably to Winnipeg.

The snow is actually gone for about 5-6 months of the year. However, ice on the lake is usually still around till the middle of July - though in a broken up, mini-iceberg-like state.

A gold mine, owned by Agnico-Eagle, operates out of the town. The mine itself is about 80km north of here.
There is also talk of a uranium mine being built as well, run by Areva.

Ah but still 20C is still damn cool that is about 68°F(checks google)

Your CM Hyper 212+ will run around 800rpm quiet mode with that room temperature.

I have the same cooler and run push and pull setup, but now it's blowing heat even faster and it is cooking me. So hot in cali that I was force to put aluminum foil on my windows just to help the AC maintain cool temp.
