well i think you mean usb vs ps2, and that mainly affects n-key rollover (ps2 is better for it), but usb allows for macro support.

as far as mechanical switches are concerned, check out the ultimate guide here

The Deck doesn't have macros, so that doesn't matter. Difference is ps/2 supports all keys pressed at same time; USB supports 6, but is more convenient. 6 keys at once is more then most people use, as most people don't notice the 2kro on your average keyboard.

Linear switches just press straight down, while tactile switches have a little "bump" you can feel to let you know you have pressed the key down far enough. It's personal preference which is better.

It's generally 6 PLUS 4 modifiers (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Windows etc).

I got the Deck Frost with the Cherry Clear's it the tactile switches. The tactiles are a bit easier to push to the "bump" that's on the keys, then it firms up and you have a "click" without the noise. You can just kind of feel it. The linear switches will have the same amount of force all the way to bottom out. It's purely up to user preference which one you will like better. The tactile switches are nicer to type on and you don't notice the bump, least I don't, when gaming. So to me it's the best of both worlds. Most people just get the linear's because they mainly game and it's totally smooth. Both are great, the tactile switch has the same spring as the blacks, but the bump of the browns from my understanding.

As far as the NKRO vs 6 Key you won't even notice. I got the USB version and mine games just fine.

Well I am going to pitch in along with Qazme on this one since we both got our Deck keyboards around the same time. I got the Ice tactile and its pretty much perfection in my eyes. You can check out my thread on here with the unboxing and a little noob review on it. You will not regret your purchase!

oh and with the tictiles, I don't bottom out. Very comfortable to type on. I got the PS2 version of the keyboard and fully satisfied but really not difference with the USB. Plus if you ever want to go to a PS2, a little soldering job does it

As long as you don't get the mx blue switches (Decks use clear), you should be okay in any game.

oh man im keep eye balling the U9BL-S (brown switch) because of the style and price.. due to deck tactile being 169+35 shipping .. thats over 200 for keyboard O_O.. idk already..
it was easier Picking a headset then picking a keyboard O_o and that wasnt cheap either (AT-Ad700 w/ mic mod parts)..

I just need a keyboard that i could bunny hop backwards over dust bridge lol. is that to much to ask for ? lol
