Tubing Length. - Page 2

I would check it out how it is in the new case; and shorten from there. Sure, you could use excess tubing, or just get a bigger res. Just remember the more water, the more your pump is pushing.

And IMO as little tubing as possible looks better.

I usually just lurk and like reading the reviews on oc.net before buying some products. Thanks for the welcoming hellos.

Yeah, it looks like I'll be shortening them maybe 4 inches. I'll post photos.

Do yourself a favor and keep an eye on that pump. Thermaltake water kits are very prone to failure, especially regarding the pump and the top of the blocks. My brother-in-law both had kits when they were a popular DIY kit, and both kits died in the same manner.

On the bright side, you'll learn a lot about the basics from them.

Update.

Swapped out everything to new Lian Li case (2nd one, I love these cases) and right when I'm about to slip in the Bigwater 760i, it hits my ram. I rerouted the tubing out the case thru their pre-drilled watercooling holes w/ grommets and now it sits outside. My Temps are awesome!!! My dual core e8400 overclocked at 4.2ghz idles at 32C...100% load for 30mins shows it at 55-60C.
