What Xonar is a good choice for me?

Thread Starter
Hi all.

I want to buy a Asus Xonar soundcard, but don't know which is the best for me. Can you guys help me?

I won't need 7.1 nor 5.1, I will just use it with my 2.1 Swan M10 and some new good headphones Im planning to buy (AH-D1001).
I was going to pick a Xonar DG, but I saw that it doesnt have ASIO drivers. That's not good for me because I will use it with Guitar Rig too.

So what choices do I have? I don't want to spend more than $50, if possible...

For 50 bucks, grab a Xonar DS. Not too much of a step up is the Xonar DX. You should be just chipper with a DS.

Until the end of March, the Xonar DS has a $10 mail in rebate.
Also you can upgrade the Op-Amp chip (for $7) on the DS.
