i7 2600k + a p67 mATX board with enough cooling + 212+(for air) or H70for waterbased cooling

Overclock to 5.0ghz at 1.4-1.5V

Add in any single slot GPU that fits with your case/PSU

SSD for hdd

there

I mean, its even possible to have that as a miniITX build... just no Overclocking P67 mITX mobo out yet, so you are stuck at stock clocks+turbo

I did a mAtx build last year for a friend, it's in my sig, the onyx. You don't really have to sacrifice performance anymore when building a mAtx

Yes, you don't really sacrifice performance, except if you want to watercool, and want it all inside.

I think mATX is the way to go. In hindsight I would have built a mATX rig.
