Bad Company 2 Benchmarks with FRAPS. However I am disappointed in the lack of 1080P in this unboxing video.

Is this really so hard for you to understand? I really hate to have to dumb this down. It's insulting to the people who can actually grasp simple concepts.

It's the same reason a 3.0GHz AMD chip is not equal to a 3.0GHz Intel chip. The architecture is different. Clock speed is not the sole determining factor in the end-user performance. That's why we use benchmarks.

It's the same reason two completely different cars with the same amount of horsepower aren't necessarily equal in speed.

This is why you can't just automatically assume one GPU will be faster than the other based entirely on the clock speeds. That's not how we judge performance, contrary to whatever you believe.

Please let me know if I need to drop it down a few more levels for you.

Please state the obvious more. Are you all excited you just figured this out today?

You're failing to understand that the difference between stock and OC'd comparisons is the clock/shader and memory speed. Apparently it is really so hard to understand for some people. 1000Mhz comparisons are perfectly legit; seeing as they both can hit it.

170 FPS was the cap I saw with 16xaf and 4xaa.

MOTHER OF GOD.

Are you for real right now? Who said we were talking about the differences between two different clock settings on the same card?

Re-read my first post you quoted a few posts above. You bolded two parts, right? Try real hard to read the few words in-between the parts that you bolded.

The minimum was also 97. Minimum or average is far more important than max.

Also:

I would highly doubt that little run they did at the end there averaged over 132fps. Also that was with the ATI card running 16AF 8AA, which is obviously more demanding.

Another loss for nvidia?

An LED logo is just worth loling at isn't it? Hardly "very special".

Who said? I did. Since I'm the one who was pointing out his flaw and you decided to try and comment on my statement. If you can't keep up then don't try and go off on a side tangent that no one but yourself is discussing.
