Well the specs seem to be very close to those of the simulated benchmarks. So I'm thinking that unless the SLI performance is better than that of 2 GTX 580s the numbers will be close to those of the simulated benchamrks.

GPU accelerated PhysX is already dead. Case in point would be a recent thread here: http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/9679...-2011-a-2.html . It only exists in fanboy banter now. A shame, since I personally like the effects it added to the few games.

Otoh, PhysX on CPU could do really well. nVidia just needs to realise GPU accelerated PhysX is dead, drop it, and do proper SSE2 optimalizations for the CPU, as well as introduce multithreading (already done). That would make it work really fast. And there is a lot of cool things PhysX can do, when run on the CPU where it can influence game play. Just look at the PhysX homepage. nVidia's developer realtions would be an assett too!

Three things.

1. Going down to 2x8 PCIe lanes should be noticable in this performance class.
2. They didn't test higher than 19x12. Differences are better visible in higher res.
3. The power consumption is obviously going to be lower with lower voltage.

Where are the leaks? At least a marketing slide, like we had for 6990?

IB4 incorrect people claiming 11.4a helps in OpenCL

Welcome to the present day where a single 560 whoops a 6990.

So useless that they're copied in different forms(ATI,Havok) yet haven't been able to perform anywhere near on par. And it's equally priced and/or cheaper actually.

so since you say that the gpu-z shot is 100% real, does that mean it will be released on the 24th which is on there under "release date"?

Doesn't the card look a bit small?

This is correct, even with NVIDIA trying to work with partners to pull back the date to the 22nd, the official release date has been set at 24th. However you might see content popping up starting the 22nd.

Are you allowed to talk about the price...

Is the $750 mentioned real? OR are we looking at $800-$850 as was previously rumored?

FYI, PhysX sucks. There are more Havok games than PhysX. Havok is much more successful and PhysX is nothing but a gimmick.

Also, I don't think any gamer cares about CUDA. And tesselation? Really?

Im fairly certain havok has existed just as long as nvidia's physX and has about 3x more titles and is way better. Even on the Ps3 havok physics are brilliant.
So read up next time you make a claim that it "copies" physx and isn't "on par".
