Microphones can draw power from P8P67 jacks? And other P8P67 audio questions

Does anyone know if a microphone can draw power from the built-in microphone jack, and if so how much?

I am looking into buying a microphone for gaming and some of the mics I am looking into (and supposedly any good mic needs to) draw power from the device. It seems this is rare on computers and I would be interested to know if it is possible for my computer.

With all my previous mics, I have had to constantly raise my voice to be heard, or at least have it closer to my mouth than is practical, and this gives me a sore throat and puts me off the whole idea of chatting online. I want to once and for all sort out a good mic that will let me talk comfortably and be heard. This might involve the sound card too, I don't know.

Do you have any suggestions for a good gaming mic for PC where I don't have to raise my voice at all or have it right next to my mouth to be heard? I am not interested in headsets - I have $200 earphones.

I am currently considering what seem to be the best 4 options:
-Olympus ME-15 Tie Clip Microphone
-Olympus ME 52 - Microphone
-Zalman Zm-Mic1
-Logitech USB Desktop Microphone - Microphone

Each seems to have some pros and cons, and I am undecided. Would also be interested in a bluetooth mic if you know of any good ones.

Lastly, I am interested in being able to chat and play with my speakers rather than earphones. Does the Realtek driver allow for cancellation of PC audio and is it good? What mic would be best if so?

Thanks everyone.

I dont think power would be an issue with any of those mics. Only time I've had to worry about that is using a studio XLR mic that needed phantom power.

I have that USB mic and its great for certain things. Works fantastic in skype, works ok in steam, completely fails in other games like non-steam Borderlands, which wouldn't even detect it. Having an easy desktop on and off switch right there is nice too.

I've also heard good things about the zalman but not sure haven't used it.

I found the ME 52 (supposedly the better of the 2 Olympus ones for PC use) for £1.52 from Hong Kong and I am in no rush so I went for it. I would still be interested in comparing it to the Zalman though.
