A good budget gaming card?

Thread Starter
So im building a budget gaming pc, kinda like everyone else ha, and im wondering what a good gpu card would be. i know budget for everyone is slightly different for everyone, so in my case im looking for a card around 200 usd. give or about 20.

im not looking for anything stellar but something nice. . . if that makes any sense ha.

well thank you all in advance!

yeah..check out some benchmarks..check anandtech.com for direct comparisons..the 460 is great though, especially if you can get a deal on it... but if u can find a 6950 1gb for less than 230usd...then that would be a good choice as well

The 6870 is better than the GTX 460.

I was about to recommend the GTX 470 but then I saw it costs $250...I'd prolly buy a GTX 560 at that price.
I just received my 6870 a week or so ago and have been very pleased. My 6950 will be in tomorrow for my intel build but i went with the 2gb version with the hopes of unlocking to 6970 specs. Either way you go you cant lose.

so would you go with overclocked gtx 460 over a HD 6870?
or even a stock one over it?
