On behalf of myself and the fellow staff we would like to apoligize for the delay in opening this thread. Unfortunately, myself and a few of our collaborative moderators weren't available for the majority of the day to have this thread opened and updated. I have gathered all the reviews I could find on this forum as well as many others and posted them in the OP. Please consider this thread officially open and free for commenting. If you see any reviews missing from the OP please post and we will add them as soon as possible.

Thank you,
~Open1Your1Eyes0

Ok, why wouldn't Nvidia add a couple of extra VRMs to prevent easily over-volting the card to death at only 1.2V for a quick bench? I haven't heard of any 6990s dying to over-votage @ 1000Mhz. ATI doesn't need a 16-Phase VRM to handle this.

Oh and:

with watercooling we recommend enthusiasts stay within 12.5-25mV of the default voltage in order to minimize risk

Poopa... i am really guessing here but ... i don't really think they had enough R&D time...

What i'm seing is AMD becoming much more predictable in terms of dual gpu solutions ... this 6990 came without any issues ( hardware ) ... clean move ...

And i may say that AMD thinks their GPU's always with the dual gpu solution in mind ... maybe that's why they try not going sky high with power specs ... I mean, this 6950/6970 blend is really good combo ...

There's no room on the PCB anymore! Have you seen it? Given there's 2x384bit memory channels to be routed, it's a small engeneering mircale!

PS: Hardware.fr review http://www.hardware.fr/articles/825-...e-gtx-590.html They got thermal campera shots.
