Which card to get for eyfinity. - Page 2

The sheer power needed to actually GAME on 6 screens, is probably close to double your current rig's power, while achieving playable frame rates.

Of course you can setup now, for 6 screens like you are saying, while gaming on 3 and browsing of some sort of the others. That would be fine. But the resolution that it would be played it, I highly doubt your current rig could handle that.

If you future plans involving a computer upgrade, then I missed that statement. But in your rig's current state, I can't see how you would game on 6 monitors.

But yes, a 5870 EF6 edition would be a good fit currently.

yeah i dont plan on gaming on 6 screens at all. just 3 and yeah i do plan on upgrading my rig to the replacement of the 1366 here ina year or 2. so yeah I always upgrade. I just dont want to buy a 900 dollar card when a 500 dollar card can do what i want.

though you don't plan on gaming on 6 screens, but GIGABYTE had published a 5870 2G x6 only cost $200, but it's rarely founded indeed, if you could get this one maybe it will be the best card for playing games.
