A GTX 590 does 775Mhz which is about 170Mhz extra and he didn't have to set the fan at 100%

Where the 6990 needed 100% fan speed to reach that speed. Most reviews were lucky if they got 950Mhz out of the 6990 with voltage added.

Also some reviewers got the GTX 590 just under 700Mhz without adding voltage

And, have they actualy run any benchmarks on this overclock? I couldn't find any in that review.
