And again, everything you quoted is not related to anything you actually posted before.

Any overclock attempt can cause hardware failure. Thats a pretty basic knowledge. My first attempt ever at overclocking caused my Radeon 5770 to get busted at stock voltage. Does it mean AMD is at fault for creating something that could cause failure at overclocking at stock voltage? No, the fault is with me.

Nividia states minimize risk by staying within a certain voltage bump, that has nothing to do with what you say of watercooling wont help overclocking.

His reading comprenhension is just blocked by the big warning sticker that AMD put on the 6990 I guess. biggrin.gif

rolleyes.gif

- Install MSI afterburner
- Adjust voltage and clock speeds at your leisure
- Then marvel as it leaves the GTX 590 even more behind

I see what you meen, That damn sticker really stops me overclocking the card rolleyes.gif

The CAP profiles will be updated for Crysis 2 shortly enough.
Not sure why HAXWX2 did so bad as they've had plenty of time to update the CAP by now.

No worries of frying the 6990 though which shouldn't be a concern for a $700 card. More memory for triple 1080p monitors too.
For my single 30" I'm getting 2 DirectCUII 570s personally.

Wanna know something funny?

My Evga Classified FTW 590 is on liquid...The day of release. kungfu.gif

It took 1month+ for the 6990 to be on water? sozo.gif ~ I'm impressed.
