Meh, it's a gimmick. I remember using a dicatation word processor back in the mid-late 90s, and it was rubbish. I had another go around 2000, it only wanted 10-15 minutes of training, but was no more accurate. Plus it was slower than typing (I type reasonably quickly).

One day, most of what you use will be voice activated. Once they get the technology to where it never confuses a word for another. That's the only reason you don't talk to your car right now. Hopefully a giant like google will just keep pushing the limits of the technology with update after update to chrome until it works perfectly. I'd like to see it start appearing in other places, where its actually needed. Mobile web browsing is one of those places. All those little keyboards are teh suck.
Oh and the new chrome logo is gay, the old one looked cooler and appealed to us gamers.
