Project Gusher ~ 590GTX Build

Thread Starter
I was skimming a thesaurus this morning looking for other words for ooze and I came upon gush, decided it fits well.

My last build//showcase failed really because the Danger Den Double Wide is the biggest, widest tolerances, waste of $$$$ EVER, in my absolute opinion...I've built somewhere along the lines of 500+pc's and this is/was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a case. Going to Saws-all it when I'm done with the new build.

That being said, most of the parts are new because I'm donating the rest to a new intern's PC...IE the 950, the 6gb mushkin etc etc etc.

I'm going for a red//green look which, I think I'll easily accomplish considering I have like 20 cooler master R-4 red fans (thanks DD!)...So, in the end, I think it will look awesome!

Parts:
EVGA GTX 590 Classified Hydro-Copper
Intel 980X
12gb Gskill Turbulance 2 1600
Evga Classified 3 770MB
Corsair AX 1200
2x Intel 80G SSD's in Raid
2x 300gb WD Raptors in Raid
1x 1tb Caviar black
Cooler Master Haf X Nvidia edition

Water:
Nickel/Nickel EK HF block
Nickel/clear EK 770 motherboard
Danger Den Monsoon w/655 VAR (It's gotten 5/5 reviews, figured I'd try it...Not expecting much)
XSPC 360 Rev 2 RAD
6x Coolermaster R4 Red fans ~ 3 in, 3 out
Black 3/8 IDx 1/2 OD
An assortment of Bitspower compression fittings

Loop in my head atm is Resi/Pump > CPU > MB > 590 > RAD > Resi/Pump..

The 360 can definitely handle the heat load at an 7c delta which, is absolutely fine with me...I can always add a second loop if I feel like it...So, that's no big deal; it's all good.

Should have this up and running monday night w/some serious pics.

why did you pick the 980x over the i7 2600k?
Sub'd, should look really neat, even though you're going with slightly older tech in the 980x.

Because SB is about to get a 40% boost in new tech come fall...So, I figured why waste the $$$$ when my core is already better/faster than most of what was/is available

Why waste the $50 more on a 990x when you can just overclock at 980x?
