did my BIOS flash go awry?

Thread Starter
alright, i tried updating my bios to F9 so i could have the CPU core control option but it was actually less stable then it was as F7 so i downloaded the F7 bios and flashed it using q-flash from a thumbdrive.

strange thing though, it only took a minute to flash as opposed to last time i flashed from a thumbdrive it took 10min~ or so

after the flash i got constant BSOD at the settings i KNEW were stable when it was on the F7 bios, reflashing still has same problems.

anyone know what might be the culprit?

Try everything again, including putting the flash file on the thumbdrive.

tried that, no avail, maybe the download is corrupted?

i downloaded the f10c BIOS and flashed it, again it only took a minute but im running stable unlocked as a quad sofar whereas with the f7 flash i would get some BSOD 5min into folding even when it was locked to x2.
