overclocking 6850's is beyond frustrating right now!

Thread Starter
I have tried trixx, disabling the ULPS in registry and I can't figure out how to unlock overclocking above 850mhz. I tried using MSI afterburner and enabling overclocking in the cfg and this does nothing. Anytime I change clock settings in trixx, even setting to default, my system completely locks up. Have to manually reboot, then I go back into the registry and ULPS is enabled, disable again use trixx, locks up and the cycle continues....

With MSI AB, did you also put the EULA text in there? The one where you say MSI AB is not liable for your OC.

I did see that in there, the value was empty, I think I remember putting it to 1 but that didn't seem to do anything that I noticed. can't remember exactly though. At work right now =[

In the variable UnofficialOverclockingEULA, put the following text without the quotes:

"I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it"
