Pre-order Portal 2 or Battlefield 3.
I saw you mentioned you had a fear of Portal 2 being short like the first one, but they've said that it won't be. Remember, the first one was kind of an experimental game they packaged in with The Orange Box. This is a full standalone game. They have promised it will be longer, and I personally haven't been let down by Valve or felt lied to, other than being let down by looooong development cycles and delays of release dates
And to be honest, I would have paid $50 for the first Portal. That's how much I loved it, and Valve is one of the few developers that I really want to have my money (which I am quite low on right now, and is the only reason I am yet to pre-order Portal 2
The new Deus Ex game looks pretty interesting to me, but I won't pre-order that one. I personally don't think Homefront looks too interesting, but most people say it's a decent game (I don't hear anyone raving about it though). And I think I'll get Crysis 2 when the price goes down or if I get a chance to try it first, if I end up loving it. It looks to me like I would prefer the first.Edited by TriplePlay - 3/24/11 at 7:20pm
