Please get over yourself, I bet if apple made iOS open source and free to distribute you guys still wouldn't use it because it has an apple logo on it.

Im surprised at you saying that. I thought HTC Sense did a pretty good job of making android a little more user friendly. Also Samsung touchwiz ain't that bad.

Depends on how much work you want to put into it.

The iPhone, like most Apple products is configured exactly how Steve Jobs wants it, and to hell with anything else. Case in point: it took Apple 3 years to allow users to change their background.

If you're thinking "Man I'm going to get my iPhone and jailbreak it so it can do all of this cool stuff" then you have the wrong phone. Pretty much every Android phone on the market has more of that functionality out of the box, without even having to root.

The iPhone can never compete with a customized Android phone, but out of the box it usually provides a better experience.

From a purely technical standpoint pretty much every newer Android phone is better. They all have faster processors and bigger screens. Even my HTC Desire, which came out before the iPhone 4 has a faster processor.

Since you said you are on at&t, I would go with the atrix. Other than that the thunderbolt on verizon or the evo 4G on Sprint are all what I would go for right now.

I can't see where people can say the iphone is "better" than any of those phones. The hardware is getting a bit outdated and it's stuck on 3G service. If you really like iOS, fine. But the phone itself is certainly not "better" than the latest android phones. That's like saying, "My PS3 is better than a high end PC." Even if it's easier to use and better for YOU, it is not superior in terms of hardware at all.
