Opinion Needed On My Setup

Thread Starter
Right now I have the pump running to the block, from the block to the rad then to the res, im not happy with my temps, so I was gonna run from the pump to the rad to the block then to the res does anyone think I will notice a decent temp drop from that route?

Your temps won't change either way. Are you using the stock components with the XSPC kit?

well, ideally you want to go res>pump>rad>cpu>gpu. the pump itself generates a bit of heat and going from pump to rad is better because the rad will get rid of the heat from the pump before before it gets to the cpu.

Higher static pressure/CFM fans and a reseat should help. What is your ambient temperature?

Realistically it doesn't matter. I measured the temps of the water going into and out of my rad. There was less than a 0.8C difference between them under load. The placement of his rad in his case and the amount of tubing used will have a bigger impact.

Plus, with the stock kit his pump is integrated into his res.

my rad is mount inside the case with the fans blowing up I was thinkin about this before heat rizes so im just pushing hot heat through my rad

I'm guessin those are from HWmonitor. Is that under load?

As far as rad placement, it's probably the best place for it if you don't want an external rad.
