Awesome okay so i get that its better to go with SB but what about the motherboards? Is there any that are really amazing feature wise? Or any one will do? Id really like something with the features that the classy evga 3 has...

If you are wanting 3 way SLI/Crossfire you have 1 of 2 choices. Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD7-B3 or Asus Maximus IV Extreme.

I personally would go with the Gigabyte, more phase and vrd 12 certified.

Most of the Sandybridge boards are coming standard with the new cool features. Things like USB 3.0, Sata 6 Gb/s (aka Sata 3) ports. I don't know of any Sandybridge boards that do not have these things. They are all new features for X58 boards.

You should pay attention to what chipset the board has (H67 or P67).

You should probably go with the P67. P67 lets you overclock and use graphics cards. H67 is for using the onboard graphics included in the chip. Onboard graphics are fine for everyday use but not for gaming or other high performance tasks.

yeah and it's less money than the MIVE. For 3 say SLI those are the only 2 options, if your just going with 2 way SLI, your options open up more.

All you are going to hear is How Sandybridge is better! ( blah blah blah )

Sandybridge are newer , with a slighty faster clock speed (Main stream processers) They do make a overclock friendly unlocked version ( k series)

These are compared time and time again to the 1366- wich are enthusiest chips!

No sandybridge is not a enthuisist chip ( there are bigger and better things coming soon! )

When ivy bridge replaces 1366 you will see the 2nd generation enthusiest chips.

If Sandbridge was really a replacement for the highend 1366 chips, dont you think they woud have charged more than $300. These are just affordable main stream chips to fill the dead space, untill the big guns are released!!!

If all they're doing is filling the space with a chip that can hit 5.1 on air, then it's a damn good space filler.
