I really prefer ATI, for price reasons... more cheaper and the same productivity

I just had the choice you did a few months ago. I went Nvidia, but you can't go wrong either way!

i say get the gtx 570.....its better overall
1) gud overclocker which the hd6970 isn't.
2)has cuda support if u ever want to use ur gpu for purposes other than gaming(i know there r not many apps for it 2 day but its progressing steadily).
3)3d gaming without any 3rd party hassle.
4)will be powerfull enough for future games too(hd 6970 is ennough too).

so if i were u i would choose gtx 570 over hd6970 even if it costs a lil bit higher...

hope it helped......

When you faced that choices you were so confused, Right ? It's so hard decision to make as they on our country don't have a big difference in $$$, So that makes me a lot and a lot confused

@ghost_z, Yes, Those info helped me, I use CUDA because I use Adobe CS5, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, But not familiar with video enconding.

Most important thing is gaming comes after it CS5.

My mind now has 70% GTX 570 and 30% 6970 2GB.

Best bang for the buck will be 6950 2GB unlock to 6970.

GTX570 is a good choice where it performs quite well in the resolution you stated. The 6970/6950(unlock) really shine @ resolution higher than 1080.

I also say go for the 570.

Oh, by the way, those are AMD cards, not ATi. There is no ATi.
