yep antifreeze. i just dumped it out and Im gonna try just distilled in it to see if the noise returns.

let me know, if it works, I have a back up pump .. since xspc didn't want the bad one back.

Yeah the noise came right back with just water. I think it has to be that its thicker than water. I also have 2 now.

Did you try opening it up? Might not be worth the hassle...wouldn't natifreeze50-50 gunk up everything else? Blocks and whatnot?

From what I've read it could gunk up but I'd rather have to clean something and it run quietly than not have to clean it and it run loud. As for taking it apart it looks hard. Maybe a heat gun to melt the glue holding it together. Im just gonna run it until I can afford a good pump.

crap, the new one has decided to be much more annoying now...it's only been up 24 hours, bah! I am going to complain to XSPC again ... this is intolerable, I quadruple checked anything that could cause this rattle too.
