Need a Sandy Bridge MoBo Recommendation - PLEASE

Alright, I bought the original release of the P8P67 Pro during release day at MicroCenter. Well, as we all know many people got crapped on by Intel for having a bad chipset and did a recall. I have been waiting forever it seems like to build my new rig. And probably many others have as well.

Upon trying to reserve a P8P67 Deluxe and it getting canceled today I also tried for one at newegg and when I went to add it to my cart it was out of stock. My luck indeed.

I guess I might as well wait a bit longer. I still have the original board I bought new in box. Been waiting to exchange it. I don't know why MicroCenter doesn't give its customers priority for an exchange, but whatever.

So it seems I have time now to make sure I am getting the best board. I want essentially what the Pro had or better. And I am wanting to access bios with a wireless keyboard or with my razer black widow ultimate. I hate having to plug in another keyboard to access the bios. I don't even know what causes that as I have USB enabled for bios.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations. I am putting a 2500K in the MoBo and 16GB of RAM + a 5870 2GB. May upgrade with Ivy Bridge is it seems optimal upon release.

Gigabyte better power phase is one. Asus will give you 2 Marvel SATA III ports internal.

It comes down to features really.

Look into the MSI GD65, I think it is better than the Gigabyte boards, totally IMO though.

+1 for GD65, Although it dosent have as many power phases, the phases it DOES have are of an extremely high quality, and can easily take your chip above 5ghz ( assuming your chip is capable)

Tip: you can use it in the while, can't you? Just use the Sata III (6Gbps) ports, leaving the Sata II free. Or you can use those as well, and then RMA the board when they will give you the possibility to.
