But what about the issues that GTX 590 are exploding with the wrong drivers (and tbh. I don't think its all software issue). What about the fact that HD 6990 can display pictures on more screens. What about the fact that it has more memory.

The only cons about HD 6990 is the noise, but with the right cooler it shouldn't be an issue and your good to go.

HD 6990 gets my vote, this is coming from an nVidia fanboy.

Funny how Linus' card didn't blow up ( Unless I missed it, please point me to where his card blew up ), while the 6990 micro-stuttered like CRAZY.

I should hope that it would last 5 minutes. Let's see if those weak vrm's can last for an extended amount of time though.

You should buy one and keep me updated. I admire your courage.

You claim 590's blow up stock and overclocked, so back up your claim or ****.

Ummmm..... there have been 2 reports on them here on overclock.net. I can't post links from my phone or I would gladly provide them for you. I'm sure you can find them with a simple search but if you're too lazy to do that I'll post them when I get to my computer.

Did you place your order yet?

I'm well aware 2 have died, 1 of them was pushing 1.2v and beta drivers.

You're claiming the 590 dies at stock and overclocked, so please show me every single 590 dying at stock and overclocked to back up your claim.

Here, I found an overclocked 590, funny how that one didn't die either.

The real funny thing here is that you're getting butthurt like I raped your dog, over a graphics card. Give it a month. If 3 of them blew in the first couple days, it's not going to take long for more reports to come in. If they don't, I was wrong. That definitely wont be the first or last time for that. Even if they don't though, the 6990 is the superior card.
